Over its 3 years of operation, Cyberdog has become a meeting place for locals, visitors from all over Prague and foreigners, mainly thanks to its uniqueness, creative architecture and many technological gadgets, thanks to which guests can savour not only refreshments and good wine prepared for them by a robotic arm, but also interesting facts and news from the world of modern technology.
The two-storey Cyberdog is a unique building which won the Award for Excellence, conferred by the Association for Real Estate Market Development, in the “Best of Realty“ competition in 2019. Its shape is reminiscent of the head and body of a dog, its material of a spaceship from the future. Cyberdog is a space divided into a robotic workplace, a trolley track that delivers wine and refreshments to individual tables located on both of the building’s floors, and a projection area where news and information from the world of technology, cybernetics and robotics is displayed. Both customers inside the building and passers-by outside can watch the projection. The authors of the Cyberdog concept are artist David Černý and Master of Architecture Tomáš Císař, and the total cost of the complete construction and furnishing of Cyberdog exceeded 20 million CZK.

Cyberdog found inspiration in Las Vegas, where robots mix drinks on an ocean liner. However, Cyberdog offers much more than just a robotic arm. What does the unique dog building have that’s of interest to you?
Exceptional architecture
The shape of Cyberdog is reminiscent of the head and body of a dog, and its material of a spaceship from the future. Its interior is divided into a robotic workplace, a trolley track located above places for visitors, and a projection space where technological news and information is displayed. The Cyberdog centre’s main information area is represented by a glassed facade on the second floor, which is fitted with a special foil thanks to which the projection can be watched from both inside and outside. Cyberdog’s interior, equipped with leading world brands thanks to Lucie and David Řezníček’s company Konsepti, is also worthy of attention.
A unique technological object
Dog in Dock wine, from Vinařství [Winery] Veselí nad Moravou, is poured directly by a robot from Kuka Robotics on the basis of orders. The trolley track then delivers the ordered wine and other refreshments to individual tables located on both of the building’s floors. Payments are made electronically using payment gateways (of course, it’s also possible to pay the wine bar staff in cash), and customers can chat with a personal assistant from Amazon, Alexa, during their visit.
